Make your reservations now for Big Bend 2025!!! This year’s overnight is scheduled for April 9-13. This event is a Members Only, Level 4 event. John and Don are your trail bosses for this year’s adventure. Kick Stands Up at 7:00 AM sharp from the HEB Leander on Wednesday, April 9th. Our first day takes us 500 miles to the Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa. Thursday is an optional day with our chapter Sunrise Breakfast Ride into the Chisos Basin. Additional entertainment opportunities include Big Bend National Park sights, Terlingua haunts and Lajitas activities, (golf, zip lines, shooting range, spa services, horseback riding tours, etc.). On Friday, we'll ride the El Camino Real (aka River Road) headed westbound through Presidio, then on to lunch in Marfa while enroute to Fort Davis. Saturday’s optional ride will be the Fort Davis Loop with a lunch stop in Alpine. Saturday afternoon/evening activities in Fort Davis / Alpine area include touring the Historical Ft. Davis Site, the McDonald Observatory Sky Party, (get tickets early at www.mcdonaldobservatory.org ), Marfa Lights or a ride to Balmorhea State Park. Sunday is a 360-mile return route down I-10 (80 mph) with lunch in Ozona and KSD in Llano around 3pm.

Wednesday & Thursday, April 9-10, 2025– Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa

This hotel has blocked rooms for us.  Reservations must be made directly with Lajitas Reservations by calling (432)424-5105. (Reservation requests may also be emailed to [email protected].) Please let the hotel know that you are with the group "CTHOG 2025" when making your reservations to receive the preferred rate. A credit card deposit for the first night's rate is required to confirm the reservation.

Note: Due to the large volume of daily calls the hotel receives, the guest's call may be answered by voicemail. Guests should leave a message. Calls are prioritized and returned in the order they are received.

Rate: $260 +tax per night for a double queen room.  All 12 blocked rooms are located at the Calvary Post.

Release Date: March 8, 2025

Cancellation Policy: 7 days prior of arrival date

CTHOG was unable to obtain a block of rooms in Fort Davis. Please make a 2-night reservation at one of the following suggested places to stay.

Once you have made your lodging reservations, please register for the overnight by clicking REGISTER HERE. Registering for the overnight ride ensures you receive all communication from the overnight Road Captain and, most importantly, lets the Road Captain know you will be joining the ride!!

Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member. All guests must sign an event release.
