Put your cowboy/cowgirl hats and boots on as RCs Rich and Richard take you on some true back country farm and ranch roads as well as a few railroad tracks southeast to Giddings, a town established by the Houston and Texas Central Railway in 1871.  We will lunch at the Santa Fe Steakhouse for a delicious Rib-eye, Sirloin, or New York strip.  Here is the menu.

We'll head out from CTHD over to Taylor and then meander our way down south through the McDade/Paige area over to Giddings for a QUICK NON BIO fuel stop then on to lunch a few blocks away.  We should arrive at the restaurant, which opens at 11am for food, friends and fellowship.  With full bellies and happy hearts we wander down through the lost pines area of Smithville/Bastrop on the hidden Park Road 1C before heading north to Coupland then returning to CTHD.
