Join Tex and Esquire for this Level 3, 172 mile ride thru Lampassas and the scenic, twisty Northern Hill Country area leading to San Saba. KSU @ the HEB - Leander @ 9:30 am to arrive in San Saba for lunch @ 11:00 am followed by a gas stop at Stripes and a return to HEB around 2:00 pm.  Great menu and good eating @ the Pecan House Grill. We'll take a few minutes to walk around the main intersection shops prior to our return leg.
