Flatonia Day 1/Don and Tex/L4/CTHD/7:30am

We'll take our "usual" route to Elgin via Mays, Old Settler's, AW Grimes, Chandler Road, CR 366 and Hwy 95.  Making a jig jog in Elgin, continue down Hwy 95 to Bastrop making a left on Chestnut Road to Loop 150 to Hwy 71.  Will be making a gas / "bio" stop in La Grange at Weikel's Bakery for some fuel and kolaches!! Afterwards will head down the access road to Hwy 609 to FM 2436 to Hwy 77.  At FM 1383 will be making a left passing two of the Painted Churches. At Dubina, will be making a right turn on Piano Bridge Road heading back to Hwy 77.  Piano Bridge is a one lane bridge that is quite interesting!!  At Hwy 77, making a left towards Shulenburg to US 90 making a Left on James Ave/ St John Road to Park Road 200 back to Hwy 77 with lunch at the Whataburger / Exxon Station.  After lunch, back on US 77 to Alt 90 to Shiner and a right on Hwy 95 to the Olle. KSD there around 1:30 pm.  Mileage is about 167 miles.
