John and Tex have a 103 mile Level 3 ride (for Hwy speed) to the Smokestack Restaurant in Thurber (pop. 5).  Great food, awesome portions (esp. the buttermilk pie). Check out the 80 ft. tall brick smokestack from the early 1900s when Thurber was a thriving coal producing town before the Texas oil boom. KSU @ 9:45 am with a return to Granbury around 1:15 pm for more Wine Walk, shopping or a visit to the Revolver Brewing outdoor event. Note: We'll have van service to/from the Revolver Brewery.  Esquire has the details.
