2025 Colorado/Utah Overnight

Colorado/Utah Adventure - 7:30 am, Sunday Sept 21 thru 6 pm, Monday September 29

Ready for your next awesome adventure? Here it is! This is going to be an epic 9-day adventure that will add 2,465 total miles to your bike, and a wealth of opportunities for fun with fellow HOG members. We will depart Leander HEB on Sunday Sept 21 on a long first leg making our way to Amarillo. From there we get to start enjoying the ride a bit more passing through the gorgeous areas of northern New Mexico in route to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Along the way, for those interested, we can stop at the NM 50 Rides One Nation destination so you can submit for your NM coin! From Pagosa Springs we head to Moab by way of the 4 corners Monument Navajo Tribal Park. This is a very unique monument and something to see. Between 4 corners and Moab we can pick up the Utah 50 Rides One Nation stop if there are those interested in doing so, (it will add 50 miles to the day). Once in Moab, we've scheduled two days to enjoy as you wish, and there is no shortage of ways to enjoy the area. Visit Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse State Park, rent a 4x4 and enjoy some rock crawling....or just relax by the pool. Make this part of the trip your own. Remember that the National Parks require timed entry passes, so if you plan to go, get your pass early. From Moab we will head to Grand Junction, Colorado where we'll visit the Colorado National Monument. This is a very cool spot to see and a great rim road to ride with stunning views. Leaving Grand Junction we will head back to Pagosa Springs traveling along the Million Dollar Highway, with a stop in Silverton for lunch. Guess what? Yep, that's where the Colorado 50 Rides One Nation stop is! Woo-hoo! From Pagosa Springs we head to Brownfield, and finally home on Monday September 29. KSD at the QT Gas Station in Liberty Hill around 6pm. We're going to have a great time, and I hope you can join us. Space is limited so book your slot early, then grab those timed entry passes so you don't miss an opportunity to see these great national parks.

Days 3 - 5: Quality Suites, 800 South Main St, Moab, UT.  Arrive 9/23/25.  Depart 9/26/25.  To make a reservation, please call (435)259-5252 between 7am & 3pm, and ask for Zach.  Blocked rooms are under "CTHOG."  Block expires 8/23/25.  Rate is $267 +tax for a single king or double queen room.  (Alternate hotels:  La Quinta Inn Moab, 815 South Main St, (435)259-8700.    Moab Valley Inn, 711 South Main St., (800)831-6622.  Note: there is no reserved block of rooms at the alternate hotels.
